Usability test is a technique to measure the ease of use of a product for the end user. It helps to measure the product’s capacity to meet the itended requirement and let discover the errors and areas of improvement.
Baselines of usability testing:
Usability test involves creating a realistic scenario where a person performs various tasks using the product, watches it carefully on the basis of few baselines or checklists and takes notes.
Few of the baselines for usability test could be as below:
Performance – Check how many steps are required to perform the task
Stickiness – Check how long it takes to perform the task
Accuracy – Check where people could go wrong about any term or step to perform the task
Recall – Check how easy the terms are to memorize for a long period
Response – See whether the user feel confident about successful completion of task
If the result meets the baselines then the product considered as usable and user-friendly.
