The TWB Alumni meet was a great success thanks to all your active participation. It is always a delight to see a strong and prospering alumni for any organization. We thank all the alumni and the TWB management & staff for making this a memorable alumni meet.

I’ve now completed 2 weeks of the TWB training course and I have to say, it’s been very very interesting! I came into the course not knowing what to expect. The first thing I learnt is technical writing is not as easy as most people think it is. For example, try writing down clear instructions telling a 4 year old how to tie his/her shoelaces. I actually tried this and it’s rather hard!
Before I decided to take this course, I remember telling Helen that technical writing seemed simple enough and that I wasn’t sure I needed to take the 2 and a half month course. However I am glad that I finally decided to do it. I have realized that technical writing is a “specialized skill” and it will take patience and a lot of hard work for me to become a good technical writer.
